The game
Each level is a race against the clock. Walk where you tap, scoop up every coin, and stay clear of the monsters that roam (and from later worlds, chase) plus the fire that sweeps the floor. A short-range gun thins out anything that gets too close. Tap a shot below to see it full size, then swipe through the worlds.
An automatic player that optimizes every move
CoinTex can play for you. Many times every second it reads the board, where the coins are, where the monsters and fire are, how much time is left, and weighs a wide range of places it could move next. It scores each option for how safe and how rewarding it is, then commits to the best one. As the board changes, it keeps re-planning.
It leans toward coins when the way is clear and toward safety when danger closes in, growing bolder as the clock runs down.
